Problem with connecting to PC

Hey friends,
I have updated my Lumia 520 to windows phone 8.1 but after it(and also updating pc windows from 7 to 8) when i connect it to my PC, i can't find my phone on the pc.
Please help me how i can update our install drivers for my phone?

Use the USB cable that came with the phone.
Connect the phone to the PC. Turn it all the way off, hold power button and slide the screen down. The phone will turn back on and it will be detected, drivers should load.
You should see it in windows explorer. It should install in 'portable devices' in the device manager.

I do all things you said but it doesn't work for me!!

have checked for the tile on you pc?..it should say Windows Phone
