Problem with Nokia Software Recovery Tool

I have Lumia 925 with PD. I want to return to 8,1 without PD, but when i install the latest version of Nokia Software Recovery Tool, i gaves me a error - 0x80072efd. Why?

turn off any anti-virus program before installing.
also, the name has been changed. it is now called
Lumia Software Recovery Tool and had combined
the Nokia Updater for Retail in to the program.

Ok, is it SP1? Also Lumia software tool requires .net 4.5. If you already have Windows 7 SP1 & .net 4.5, then I Would recommend to uninstall Lumia software recovery altogether using revo uninstaller and reinstall. Let us know if you still get same error.

The tool is poorly programmed unfortunately. It doesn't comply with UAC at all.



If you run a "user" account instead of an "administrative" one, this is one of those rare programs that just need to be run inside an admin account- user account + run as admin won't work.
