Problem with opening my Wi-Fi on a new tablet.

I've just bought a new Lenovo Tablet, my laptop is also a Lenovo. I'm trying to open up the Wi-Fi on my tablet. The Wi-Fi I use is virginmedia8898091. When I try to open it comes up "Saved, secured with WPA/WPA2 " the connection shows "Excellent", but It's still locked Further tries result in the message "Authentication problem, bu not what the problem is. Help, please. I'm not very computer literate so answers with not much jargon will be appreciated.

question: did you already enter your password?

Edit: if not, dive into settings > wireless > tap on the connection > remove it > scan again > connect to your network again

I don't own a lenovo so i'm just winging it here...
