Hey all
My daily driver screen was broken and I had to use an old 1320
I tried to button reset it but the volume up button seems not to work
Thus I used WDRT
Phone connected was recognised and software downloaded
When it got to installing software I kept getting an issue where it fails
On the phone itself it goes blank and NOKIA comes up at the top(red screen) but the flash never completes
As soon as it begins on that screen it just shuts off at that point
I tried deleting the Microsoft Device Software folder in program files and uninstalling in order to reinstall it as well as thinking the software was corrupted by chance but it seems I can't get it completely deleted as it never redownloads the software (is their a particular path to completely delete?)
Any suggestions?

I'll try a different cable and laptop see if I can get any luck
it did flash once but all the data was still there it didn't give the option of setting up like a new device then I did a reset in settings and it went back to the original state
(which is no live tiles or anything on home screen. only battery icon and network icon visible......total blank screen otherwise)

Try another cable and computer first. Once flashed, it should be like an entirely new factory reset device (i.e. you have to set up absolutely everything again). If you ran a flash before but you still had your existing data then it sounds like the flash was not done properly.

phone comes on with the charging icon (battery icon blinking charger) then it boots up to Nokia and screen remains on but blank...
if I remove the charger the phone completely shuts down
replug and get the same process
doesn't seem to be charging.....
(battery was not damaged when I removed it)
I'm really of the opinion that the software is corrupted

So the battery is removable? It may the battery itself? When you try to flash the phone, what software do you use and what version is it? Maybe try an older version of the flash tool?

You are brave removing a non-removable battery!

If you can try flashing it and share a video of what happens that could be useful.
