Project my screen

How do I get this working on the 925? I've installed the program on my PC, but when I connect my phone to the PC with a USB cable the phone just searches and never finds the laptop. Could it be that a firmware update is needed to make this work on the 925?

It has been solved and posted in the other threads.
Go into device manager in you PC, and right click -> uninstall everything pertaining to your phone. it will likely be in two categories. one with your phone's name, and the rest either down with its full name.
uninstall those all and reconnect your still-searching Lumia.

hey , I was having similar issues on Lumia 920 and Lumia 520. I solved this by first unplugging my phone from my pc , then go into device manager , click on view option and select show hidden devices. Now go into portable devices section ->right click on windows phone and click on uninstall and delete the driver. Now do the same in Universal serial bus devices and uninstall all the devices (I was having 3 Lumia 920 listed ) and uninstall them. now plugin your Lumia 925 and you will be asked for if you want to project your screen :smile:

You should uninstall and install again and again till it works

Or else try updating your usb drive which might be the case... I updated my usb drive, after that it started working
