Prospective Yellow Lumia owners unite!

This is a mobilization thread for anyone waiting for or wanting a Yellow Lumia 920. We will unite, mobilize, and storm the gates of Nokiahaus!

Seriously. What is the deal with the lack of availability and news about all nokia accessories and 920's, but the Yellow one in particular? I just read another thread where a whole bunch of people ordered Yeller ones 3 or more weeks ago and still haven't gotten them.

I've been up and down the spectrum of WP8 phones (the one i'm gonna git)and have pretty much zeroed on the Yeller 920 of late and I don't think I've seen that phone in stock anywhere since shortly after they released it. I check every day.

Where are all these phones? Could they have underestimated demand that badly? I know it's selling well, but...really? Are they being crafted with guilded, golden implements? Are they being fused with magic? Or Mana? Maybe the well of Hero elixir has run low? Have they not enough Nokiabots to craft them? This seems a little absurd, even for a high-demand phone.

Where are all the other Nokia accessories or news of them? We have it on good word that the back plates will be available for the 810 as well, where art thou? It's gettin' dern close to christmas and I would think they would have resolved all this/gotten all other accessories out so people could buy them. As gifts. For christmas.

As an island dweller, online is usually the way to go for getting certain things here, but I think I hard target search on the mainland is going to have to happen when I go see mother and father Impossible for christmas. Sorry, Christmas Impossible.

I don't mind waiting since whatsapp isn't on WP8 anyway and by the time I get it, the bugs will be fixed hopefully.

I second Doc's post. Especially when you consider that the Yellow seems to be the "official" color of the 920, like the Cyan was the "official" color of the 900. I'm beginning to wonder if the missing secret ingredient in crafting the Yellow 920 is unicorn blood. Without this, the Yellow 920 is not truly yellow, but rather a pale ecru.

That's what I'm going with, at least. It keeps me mildly sane while I wait for mine to be shipped from Wally World Wireless. Also, since I have a BlackBerry Torch 9810 from work, and I'm actually signing up for a personal cell phone because I want a Yellow 920 that much, it's not like I'm going without any type of smartphone while I wait. But the lack of any useful information from The Powers That Be is rather frustrating. It would be nice to know if I'm realistically going to get my 920 before Christmas 2014. It's starting to feel like 2013 would be too presumptuous to ask. :grin:

I've been waiting for a couple weeks and still no give from AT&T. The color's available at Best Buy Wireless I think but I'm not sure if that comes with the free wireless charger or not.
Either way I need a refresher from the iPhone 3GS I've had for about a year already...
