Qualcomm looks to strengthen ties in China with new patent license deals

Qualcomm is looking to head into 2016 with a clean slate in China now that the company has signed new patent licensing deals in the country. Qualcomm has reached an agreement with smartphone manufacturers Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment and Haier Group. The move comes after the company itself was investigated by Chinese officials over an antitrust dispute.
