Question about Asphalt 8

I just installed Asphalt 8 yesterday. It is 820Mb and then today there is an update of Asphalt 8. Same 820Mb. -_-

Seriously, is this how it supposed to be? It is a re-install.

The apps/games in WP8 has the format .xap which needs complete reinstall for a small update. But after the release of 8.1 a new format is also used .appx, which will only download the new contents when updated.

So wait until Devs adopt to that format.

PS: Asphalt 8 update with new cars and tracks will be version 1.2.0.0 or above. Look for that when you see an update.

I wish I knew that there will be an update today so that I did not install Asphalt 8 yesterday.

I agree. Gameloft has done this a few times with no noticeable improvements to the game. It is still missing features found in IOS and Android versions. I liked A7 better.
