Question about home page

On the homepage, is there any way to change the scrolling from top >bottom, to sideways for more page like scrolling?

no, that is the ethos of Windows Phone.

If you want a little bit more customization and grouping, you can try to use HeaderTiles app:

HeaderTiles | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

It will still be vertical scrolling though.

Thanks bigboy. I found that app yesterday, plus group tiles, and spacer tiles. I haven't done much with them yet, as I was hoping there was a setting I hadn't found yet to make it horizontal scrolling. lol. I doesn't cost to ask right???? My home page is getting a little long so maybe the organizational tiles will help a little. Folder apps would be great but no such thing so far.

When I had an iPhone 3gs I had the same problem, but at least that was horizontal scrolling. JB with the cydia apps was my solution there. Then Android for the next 2 years- was great. Now learning the windows system. This is the only thing on the 521 that bugs me- lack of organization- Great phone otherwise. I will play with the apps above and post back.

I ended up using the spacer tiles and it worked out well. At least all my apps now can be grouped together and not run into each other and get lost.
