Question for the experts! :)

So Ive searched around and found a lot of info,just not my specific question about the language packs. The instructions say to go into messaging to see what languages are available. theres way more listed than the seveneighter program has to check off. Then I saw another one that said to look in settings/languages or something like that. There I only found 5. Is it just those 5 I need to check off? I have a SGH-i917 7.5 OS 7.10.7740.16.

Are you trying to update to 7.8 on a device that has not received an update from your carrier?

yes. Just updated to 7.5. Apparently there wont be an official 7.8 update coming out for it.
