Questions about Xbox one India

I'm planning to buy Xbox one but can somebody tell me
1.How will Xbox work with my D2h connection?
2.Would it completely replace my D2h box? I plan to buy because I have a Videocon d2h which runs on Linux OS and is super slow while changing channels.
3.Would it always require internet connection?
4. Do I have to buy Xbox subscriptions to play games?

I can answer a couple of them.
3. No. They got rid of that requirement months before launch.
4. No. X-Box Live lets you do online multiplayer, and gives you access to Games with Gold discounts, but other services (and single player games) don't require live.

I remember reading in a newspaper that all d2h boxes in India will support Xbox one integration or something like that. So you can change channels through the Xbox but you will still need the Videocon box . still check the Xbox faq section, coz I am not so sure.

Hi All,
I just bought XBox One from US, i will be travelling to India next week however i have lot of concerns..please assist..
will i be able to
1.carry my Xbox One to India by flight, if yes please advise whether i need to carry in BagPack/Luggage.
2.play with the game cds that i buy in India.
3.is it mandatory to buy StepDown Transformer.
4.claim warranty stuff in India..

Please advise on priority basis as i will be travelling next week...:

Nope I have no idea about importing Xbox in India check their website or FAQ page provided by Xbox
