I was looking at this HP Pavilion laptop, and it says that it should get "up to 9 hours of battery life", and I was wondering if it will actually get close to that amount. Could someone look at the specs of the laptop and tell me if it will get somewhere near that 9 hour estimate? Thank you

I'll say real use 5 to 6 hours because as configured with discrete graphics, hard drive and 4 cell battery up time may be less.
Laptops are always over rated when it comes to battery time.

OK, thank you. The Laptop I had before I returned it got about 2 hours Screen On time.

I thought it was a good option for a low cost notebook.
The illuminated keyboard and a second open drive bay to add another SSD/HDD if needed were good features.

OK, thank you. Costco has a similar model with 16 gbs of RAM, an i7-7500u, Nvidia 940mx, and 256gb SSD for $699.
