I noticed after updating my L925 to DP 8.1 update 1 and cyan my phone randomly reboot itself. Done factory reset and that did not help.

Mine is doing the same. Read on another forum that it was the live folders causing it but mine has done it many times since I stopped using them.

Also had the phone exchanged for a new one so it is software related.

Unless you absolutely have to have WIFI calling, I don't know why you guys just don't flash a South American ROM. You see, all the third world countries down there now have Cyan. It's just T-Mobile that can't seem to figure it out. I used product code: 059T883, variant name: RM-893 VAR LTA MV WHITE, and in less than 20 minutes had Cyan working great on my 925. LTE works on both T-Mobile and AT&T with no branding on start up. It's great. Download what you need here: http://pgotze01.synology.me:5000/fbdownload/Nokia?k=9eZBwd3E&stdhtml=true, follow the instructions here: [Tutorial] Unbrand (flash) Nokia Windows Pho… | Windows Phone 8 Development and Hacking | XDA Forums. Stop fretting over T-Mobile's sad support and just do it yourself and if you really so need WIFI calling, you need to switch carriers.

I don't have a clue what you're talking about regarding flashing with ROMs - I am not on TMobile, but like the other poster get random reboots.

I have had my 925 replaced twice wotu brand new handsets and it still happens. On this 925, my third one, I'm not even on DP, so I'm using the stock Cyan update. And I am not using live folders.
So this isn't a TMobile, developer preview or live folder issue.

Is this an AT&T phone or one you bought somewhere else? When you got the phone back did you restore from backup? Did you install the same apps again? You may just be really unlucky with these things.

I live in the UK so no AT&T here. The phone is on the Three network. All 3 phones have been brand new but restored from backup. Same apps too. But the reboots can happen when no apps are running in the background and when I'm doing nothing on the phone. It is always locked when it reboots.

Well does the Latin America ROM support internet sharing on ATT or T-Mobile?
I'm on Cricket now so not really sure. Yes Cricket is AT&T, but they have different rules which I don't think includes sharing and since I have 3 different WIFI networks going for a business I'm running it was never a concern for me. I'm pretty much over WIFIed now.

It probably is an app. Even if the rogue app isn't running, it could have altered a setting that is causing the problem. On my 8.1 computer I recently installed the 2015 version of Quicken and it destroyed my Outlook e-mail program so these things can happen. In your case, I would do a hard reset and not install any apps at first. Then, after a few days if all is good install the ones you want one at a time. There is a good chance a flash to a different ROM would fix this, but I wouldn't have a clue which European one to choose and since your phone seems to still be under warranty it's probably not a good idea to go that route if you are unfamiliar with the process. It's got to be frustrating and I probably would already have tossed the device if I had that much trouble with it, The other guys complaining about this were running a preview beta ROM which was the cause of their problems.

Munter2, you are probably right about the app. Sadly pretty much all the apps I use are apps I need, so that would be a frustrating testing period. Potentially worth it though.

As to the other poster, bringing up the stock Cyan install is relevant because my 925 suffers the same issue and as it has happened on both DP and non-DP installs it helps pinpoint that the problem isn't the DP.

I never had any issues with my 925 on stock Cyan or Cyan/Black with DP. If it's an app issue i guess contacting the app developer might help

If I go down the route of a fresh install then installing one app at a time over a number of days it will take a long long time to find out which, if any, app is causing the problem. It could even be a combo of 2 apps...

So, I installed this ROM and I am getting horrible battery life. Did you have any of this? Have any suggestions?

Mine has been about the same as when I was still running the T-Mobile ROM after a couple of adjustments. Check which applications are running in the background under battery saver and turn some off that you don't really need. Cyan does come with a lot more apps running in the background. Cortana seems to take the most battery, but I want it running in the background for reminders. With Cortana on, my battery still lasts over a day with a minimum hour of internet browsing and a few phone calls along with an hour or two I-Heart radio. I did turn off all the MSN apps, news, sports, money. They sure don't need to be on in the background. If all else fails put the phone in airplane mode and then restart it, then go back to normal mode after a couple of minutes. That seems to have settled down battery usage for some who first went on Cyan, but I really haven't seen anyone referencing that for some time,

So, this was odd. I installed the ROM and set everything up on the 925. For the following two days straight Calendar and Cortana were just creating a murder scene with my battery. The third day, after changing not a single thing, those two apps stopped doing whatever it was causing my battery to deplete. Now my phone's battery is rock solid.

I'll just chalk it up to Calendar downloading EVERY appointment from now back to the beginning of time and Cortana actually absorbing the entire internet for two days. :)

So, for those interested, I started testing apps and after removal of Skype, I haven't had a single reboot.

If you have Skype and can do without it for a period of time, give it a try!
