Random shutdown on my HTC 8X

I started experiencing random shut down on my AT&T HTC 8X before, but now on 8.1 it seems to be much more frequent. Now happening multiple times a day. Any suggestions/solutions out there?

I had this issue with my 8x several months ago. My issue was the SIM card tray. Based on another thread, I found in the 8x forum, I put a couple of layers of scotch tape on the card - using an Exacto knife to trim off the excess tape. Haven't had an issue with the random shut-down since.
