rear housing replacment 1520

Has anyone replaced the rear housing on a 1520 yet ?????

i did it all the time with my 920 and it was super easy, now ive seen the housing on ebay and wonder if anyone else has tried it yet ??

I am looking for a Green on for the 1520.3 I just bought. But there are Red and White shells on ebay. Just search for "1520 battery cover shell". I would post a link but I don't have enough posts apparently.

Did you watch the tear down video on the 1520? It's a night and day difference between the 920 and 1520...it's like they purposely tried to make the thing impossible to fix yourself.

I'm not looking to replace my yellow but I see the backs are sold with or without QI.Out of curiosity is the QI built into some covers so if you wanted to change color of a QI 1520 (all but AT&T) do you need the cover with QI or can you buy one without and just move the QI stuff from your original phone over?

Thats how it worked for the 920 but im not sure if those covers are for the at&t 1520s

Should be fine the guide somewhere on here for adding QI to the ATT one had them using the coil from the 928 IIRC.
