recently some local store offers L900 for 199$US unlocked, is this good price?

this october 2013 some store offers L900 for $199 and L920 for $399 , both unlocked.

are these price good enough bargain ? i mean at $199 one can get previous version of lumia (wp7) with great build and camera, while at the same price the other alternative is crappy android phones.. even L520 are more expensive here.. the old iphone4 still sold at $399 unlocked here..

I wouldn't recommend the 900, since it will not be getting any further updates, and many new apps are for WP8 only.

I'd recommend the 520, since it is inexpensive and yet it runs WP8 and will be supported with future updates (GDR3 and 8.1).

The only reason I haven't upgraded yet is because I'm in a contract. As soon as I'm eligible for an upgrade, I'll get one.

Don't get a 900 now, get any wp8 device.

The Lumia 920 for $399 sounds like a really good price, especially if it's the same price as an iPhone 4. The Lumia 900 though is only worth getting as a spare device if it's more expensive than a Lumia 520.

Looks like the international version though, which might limit the LTE compatibility in the US.

Or you can pick something in the middle like the Lumia 820 , the L720 is great too. The L520 is one of the best budget smartphones in the market... much better than any cheap android phone.
