Recommended offline maps for Japan

Hey guys, as the title says I'm looking for a recommended map app whilst I travel around Japan in May. If it has offline capabilities - great. If not, I will find a way to survive.

So please shoot me recommendations.

I'm assuming you have Here maps? If so, go to Here maps and download offline maps for Japan.

This is an old thread, but I wish someone would answer this, not only because Here maps is going away, but also because offline maps for Here/Windows Maps does not exist. (answer is incorrect)
