Hello,

I have a Windows 10 Dell laptop.

For some reason my recycle bin is not working. When I go to delete a file or folder, the recycle bin option does not come up. Instead, the only option that I see, is to delete the file or folder.

How can I fix this?

Thank you.

Dear, the recycle bin may be corrupt. To solve this problem Open "Command Prompt" as admin, type: rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin and hit enter. Then reboot your computer and your problem will be resolved.
I also suggest running system file checker once. To do this Open "Command Prompt" as admin, type: sfc /scannow and hit enter. Then reboot your computer and this will check and fix your system for corrupted files and system integrity violation.
I hope your problem will be resolved.
