Redbox Instant...good and bad

Well saw them bragging about this little gem on Twitter. The good, lets you browse real time inventory of your local redbox location from your Xbox. The bad, why would I pay $4-5 to stream a movie when I can go a half mile and get it for $1-1.49? That concept fails miserably.

The pricing threw me off too. I saw one rental for six bucks. I can only assume prices are so high because they want you to sign up for the monthly package.

Yeah, I signed up for the free month. That is all I am going to keep it for. The selection of streaming (non-rental) movies is miserable. Not much of a selection. almost 4000 movies, and most of them are poo. I already have the Amazon Prime. RedBox Instant has a ways to go.

The streaming titles are pretty lacking.
