redish hue lumia icon

Hi , the blacks are real blacks during bootup or update installment , but right before the verizon logo pops up , the top half of the screen gets this ugly red hue on it's true blacks, it ruins the amoled screen , is there a way to fix this?? im using Lumia Denim , i wanna stay in this version if possible.

It's a known issue going back 3+ years. If you check out the Icon forum, you'll see a few posts about it, like this one and also this one. It's still present on W10 b/c I fired up my Icon a couple weeks ago and noticed it on startup.

Just booted my ICON and did not see the problem.

It isn't present during bootup , only post verizon logo , setup your max brightness in a dark room and pay close attention to the top half of the screen.

I believe this is what we call screenbleeding. If I'm correct one of the ways to fix it (or maybe the only way) is to replace the screen

This happened on my old Lumia 1520. Yes, my only choice was to replace the phone. At the time, I didn't do that, and just got a 640XL instead. Those were the days!
