Remember dust issue in the front camera

Does anyone remember the dust issue in the 920's front camera ?? where you get dust coming from the earpiece into the front camera and proximity sensor ? well I have it. I remember how WPcentral mentioned back in the day that if you go to ay Nokia care centre they should be able to open it up and add a small cover around the proximity sensor and front camera and clean it up for FREE. I got my 920 earlier last year when I was first launched and I did encounter the problem. Back in the day I went to Nokia care centre and here's what they said "We will take your phone for a month and will send it to our biggest Nokia centre ( which is on the other side of the country) and we will change the touchscreen panel altogether + we will charge you for that"
First of all I'm not giving my phone to anyone for 1 month
Second of all I'm not paying anything to fix a manufacturing defect, its not like I went to a local store, I went to Nokia themselves
Thirdly, What happened to putting a small piece of covering around the front camera ?

Any suggestions on what should I do because after over a year of having my 920 , its time to fix the dust issue because its ruining how amazing the phone looks

I just had mine repaired for the FFC dust. Didn't charge me anything, they even paid for the shipping. I was only without my phone less than two weeks.

Oh, didn't know you were from the ME. There is a ME support page, you can google it. I briefly checked it out. Try that page and contact them. You might be without a phone for a while though. Maybe someone else from the ME can chime in here?

I bought my l920 from Dubai, had this problem, and got it repaired there. It was for free, and they replaced the whole screen, all within 1 week. I'm not sure why they are charging you for that.
