Choosing to delay their inhouse game to avoid stomping on another developer's game? Unheard of, no?

Considering XBOX RPG fans will have SHATTERED SPACE they can afford the short wait and, let's face it QSC has it bad enough as is. In today's gaming environment STALKER 2 success means the studio's survival. And MS is partnered with them, so they have a vested interest in Stalker 2 doing well.

But, what other platform holder would be that helpful to their partners?
(Helldivers2, anybody?)

Every once in a while, MS surprises. 👍

Not unheard of for an exclusive 3rd-party release. And a Game Pass release too. So, it's not to Microsoft's interest if they crowd into each other and take away gamers' playing time from one another. What's the point paying for an exclusive release if ya gonna hurt yourself with it?

But for once, moving to February is actually a good idea. The knock with Xbox has been they hardly release anything early in the year, but instead prefers sandbagging releases until closer to the holiday season

So hopefully this becomes a more regular occurrence that people have been asking for - spread out releases thru the whole year, not just the back half
