Reset + battery problems on lumia 920

Hello, i'd like some help with a problem that i had with my lumia: I was doing a soft reset, the screen was showing the engines, when suddenly the battery died. I, then, connected the phone to the charger but i disconnected it some time later, the phone went back to the engines on the screen but, again, the battery died. Now i putted the phone to charge once more, and the screen just shows the charging icon. The phone doesn't turn on. What can i do to solve this?Thank you.

Sometimes you have to leave it a while before it recovers enough power to boot up. How long has it been?

Happened to my 920 when I let the battery drain one time. Was nowhere near a charger. My fault of course. I plugged it in when I got home and saw the icon as well for a few minutes. Left it and the next thing I know I was on the homepage again

yes, i left it charging for hours, but screen keeps showing the engine icon.

Try doing a hard reset only in case of nothing else works (this will wipe out all your data, photos, contacts, music, videos, etc)
