Restore parts of the settings only?

With WP8.1 giving us the possibility of backing up app settings, is it possible to restore only parts of those settings (like game progress) and not all the system? Or is it all or none?

As far as I can tell it's all or none Otherwise you should just backup what you want and wipe out the rest

Yeah that's what I thought. But I'm so far in Angry Birds Rio 2 (yeah I still like Angry Bird ok! ) that I didn't want to lose my progress. Oh well...
