After updating 1308, I experienced improvement in battery life. But only for couple of days. After that i don't know which application is causing issue that is draining battery fast. Even with Nokia music which happen to consume low resources is draining battery fast and creating some heat.

So I am thinking for factory reset. But if I do that, all the installed applications will be lost. Out of which I have few paid applications. So can someone tell me how can I restore paid applications?

Just go to the store and re-download them. You will see the usual buttons of "Try" and "Buy" but don't worry, you won't have to pay for them again so just hit Buy then you can just re-install them.

There also is a purchase history on www.windowsphone.com if you login with your account, you can push most of the purchased apps to your phone. This requires that you have it enabled under settings, find/locate your phone

Thanks.
When I switched from Lumia 900 to 920, I saw only 70% of my contacts of Lumia 900 were present in my Lumia 920. So this time before factory reset how can I ensure that all my 100% contacts are synchromized with Windows LIVE ID?

You can log-in to your MS account on line to double check that all of your contacts are in sync with the ones on your phone. If any are missing you can add them manually to the list on line.
