Retrieve forgotten email acct?

My dads 920 just went dead when it was fully charged. Before I had a chance to try to revive it, he took it in today and they gave him a refurb phone. He cannot remember what his Microsoft email account was, because he also setup his primary Cox email. As a result of this, I can't restore his contacts.
Is there any way possible to retrieve that Microsoft email account so he van retrieve his contacts?

You're practically on your own. Curious that Microsoft hasn't added a forgot account option.

Lol yea I think he created a hotmail account for initial setup, but really only uses his Cox account. I wasn't sure if there was a back way of retrieving it ex) phone# attached to the acct.

Check the Cox email for a welcome email from hotmail, also he may have used his Cox email address as the name of his Microsoft account

Yea, its strange because I was able to get logged into his Microsoft account using his Cox email, but his purchase history is empty. Therefore I know that wasn't his primary account. I have his Cox setup correctly now so if it happens again, his contacts and apps are backed up.
