Right to left direction problem--Persian/Arabic languages

Direction and alignment of incoming text messages in a right to left language like Persian or Arabic are not correctly displayed when the phone languages is set to a left to right language like English.

Does anybody know why and what is the workaround?

I have had a nokia Symbian phone that could detect the message language and display the message in corresponding alignment.
