Ringtones sounds different after Amber update

Hi!

I have been using Nokia tune as ringtone and Nokia message as sms ringtone. After the amber update theese ringtones sounds different than they did before. I think they sound strange and not as good as before.

Anyone else who has noticed this?

Yes, the Nokia tones were replaced on the Amber update. IMO, the new Nokia tune and Nokia message sounds better now.

I don't like the new Nokia sounds, and whish Nokia would bring the old ones back. I guess we can use whatever tone we want in a future OS release...

I also noticed the change and missed the old ones. I searched from the Internet the old version, but without any luck. Then I looked at zedge.net. Here is what I found

I had the same question since think the old ringtones are better. I downloaded the pre amber mp3s and copied them into the ringtone folder on the phone, but there is no custom category on the ringtone settings on the phone. What am I doing wrong?

I find the new Nokia sounds wimpy and thin sounding. Their level also seems to be lower.
Before I could hear the Nokia message sound from across the room at work. Now I can barely hear it when I am next to the phone.

I think the Windows Email ringtone (maybe the other "windows" ringtones) has changed too. Is it easy for you to upload that, too?
