Safety of Preview for Developers

Hello, I am looking to put p4d updates on my 830 but I just want to make sure that the people who have done so here have had good experiences (no bricking, crashing etc.). I have done it on my HTC 8x already so I am familiar with the process; I just want to make sure that there are no specific problems with the 830. Also I am on att with their partial version of denim that came preinstalled. Thanks!

Since the only thing that has happened to date that your 830 missed is minor updates and stuff. I would expect zero issues for those small things.

If Update 2 appears in the Preview for Developers program? I wouldn't expect issues since it's not major. But a 10 DP? I'd be more cautious, having been around when 8.1 first launched there.

As xandros said, you shouldn't have an issue at all. My 830 ran it without issue.

I'm not running it now simply because there's little benefit (few new features etc) vs the time/work involved to put it back on (I rolled back to 8.1 after flirting with WP10 for a few days.)

At this point, no.

I've had PFD on my Lumia 822 installed since more than a year ago. Long before Denim arrived for the device.

If I understand correctly PFD is already final and should only have minor bugs in it.
