SAMSUNG FOCUS 1.4 MANGO lets go people!!

been waiting for a while on my 1.4 samsung focus and i understand and im patient on getting it ...but getting no real information besides the same old story is frustrating ..is there a machine or some type of so called human that can give a brother some real info on whats goin on ..love this phone but if not being able to enjoy the fruits of what shouldve been supposed to be and not currently is..is not the way to go ..besides waiting for this SAMSUNG FOCUS 1.4 MANGO crud ive also had zune problems of zune telling me i have no space in my phone ..but my phone and i know we have most plenty of space lol..and thats annoying ha..underneath it all i hope a release day can be told to us sometime if anyhting knows please help us 1.4 ers out ..like i said i love this phone and im patient n all but damn cmon now ??

It's supposed to be out today. But my phone still hasn't updated. I saw in may websites that mango update for rev 1.4 is coming on Oct 31. I mean, rev 1.3 got mango more than a month ago. How can microsoft and samsung mess up so bad? I need multitasking and all the good stuff too.

And the worst part is there is ZERO communication from both Microsoft and Samsung.

The Focus 1.4 Mango update has just gone into testing today. (Was previously in scheduling)

Focuz 1.4 has been in testing for some time now.. It didnt just go into testing today... The dell venue pro went into testing today, thats what was updated on the page today, and they also never said for certain that the focus 1.4 would get mango on the 31st, that's just the date that they were shooting for TA. I hope thiz helps, i know it sucks, as my focus is a 1.4 as well. =(

Yeah very frustrating. The proximity sensor went bad on my focus, and mostly b/c of this 1.4 upgrade experience (and the extrutiating wait on an AT&T WP7 Nokia phone) I likely will not get another windows phone this time. Sorry guys, I absolutely love WP7 but if the small collection of phones on the market takes over a month to update while we're mostly in the dark, what happens when they have 3 or 4 times that many phones?

Maybe not....the Focus Flash looks tempting. I can't stand android and I don't know if I can bear to go back to an iPhone. I do NOT like siri. "Siri I love you!" Yuck!

how do you guys know if it's v 1.3 or 1.4 before turning on the device?
I might buy one from ebay, but i want to make sure it's the one that has mango.

Its on the back of the phone underneath the battery, it will say either rev 1.3 or rev 1.4.

Ok, lets talk about strategy Microsoft.....
I have a windows phone right now and I am early upgrade eligible with my phone. The new iPhone is about to come out but I don't preorder one because you say mango is gonna release around the same time and I want to give you a deserved second chance at making me love your phone. But when that day comes you say "sorry, everyone gets the update but you." I am offended. You only have like 7 different devices on the market and you can't get them all updated smoothly? And to add insult to injury you don't apologize and you can't even get the update out within a month of everyone else. Microsoft, this is why nobody will fall in love with your company. You don't make your clients feel like you care about them. I for one am going back to the loving arms of Apple.

I just called Att (611) today and told that i am ticked that i have waited so long for mango on my focus, I demanded they swap out my rev 1.4 device with a 1.3 or else I would terminate my service, and they let me do the swap out at my local Att store! Now I am loving mango to the fullest on my focus. Hooray!
