If you're eyeing up Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the latest in the blockbuster shooter franchise, a new deal at Target brings the first discount we've seen so far. The latest entry in the best-selling franchise dropped less than two weeks ago, and you can already save $10 on its Xbox digital download. Furthermore, this saving applies only to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's "Cross-Gen Bundle," which includes both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions of the title.
This is an especially surprising discount to see, and at this point, it's unclear whether this is a pricing error or early Black Friday promotion. This type of deal is incredibly uncommon on digital downloads, which often hold their value long after physical, disc-based versions. This saving also applies exclusively to the next-generation Xbox version, which includes the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions for $60, usually retailing for $70 in the U.S.
