Scan BarCodes

Hi,
I m working at uni and have to deal with books a lot. is there an easy way to scan their barcodes with my phone and, most ideally, have them sent to a programme like citavi or zotero?
Somehow i believe that I have done this a while ago? I cant find the function.

Try QR Scanner RS it a new app haven't tried it yet but it just came out.

It used to be in Bing Vision lens. But MS in their infinite wisdom took out barcode scanning, but left QR codes. Why??? I have no clue. I liked it because I could go to the store, scan the barcode of something and do a web search to do price matching. It was an awesome feature, that I wish they would put back in, personally.

Bing Vision is in Cortana so if you have Cortana you have Bing Vision. In the Store there's also an app for Cortana called QR for Cortana. I use it a lot but I don't know if you can save things to either of the apps you mentioned by name.

too bad Cortana is only supported in the US!
