SCCM 2012 - Windows 8 machines are showing as complaicnt eben though they do not have patches

[WPCentral Question]

1) Windows 8 updates/patches are showing as NOT required in our environment but when we install them manually they are installing
2) There are some windows 8 machines as well on which the patches are installing. These machines have same configuration as of the machines which shows as NOt required from SCCM 2012 console
3) SCCM 2012 database showing machines as compliant i.e Not required patches. But when we install the patch manually it gets installed.

Please reply if you have same issue or have any suggestions to help us in this case
