I got scratches on the screen on my 1520. Any advice on how to possibly repair this.

If you don't want to do it yourself, get it to some expert. It would never look like original. So you can buy a new one!

Some screen protectors do a good job at hiding small marks, never tried it myself but have seen this said many times over the years.

Just Google which as some are better than others.
