Screen Dimness?

Played with the 900 at an ATT store tonight. Literally loved everything about it, but noticed the screen (esp on web pages) was much dimmer than my iPhone 4S. I went into the settings & made sure auto-dim was turned off & the screen was set to high. Am I missing another setting somewhere?

I remember my Focus had an "extra settings" that let you turn off some other screen dimming feature (think it was something with the whites on webpages being dimmer). Does the 900 have that? I forgot to look. Thanks.
