Screen flashing while trying to upgrade to windows 10. How do I get it to go on?

Windows Central Question

Was ugrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and screen just flashes different colors. No keystrokes do anything. We have to reboot and then it just flashes again. How to we get it to go on and finish the upgrade?
