screen freeze

My Screen just froze. How do I fix that? I have the 8.1 preview and also installed the new Lock screen app. I'm not sure if that has something to do with it but, I cant do anything right now. No hard reset of anything. I'm currently waiting for my battery to die, in hope that that resets the phone.

But does anyone know how to make it go faster?

There's an article on this site about a freezing issue with app installed and also after removing it. Well not so much freezing as lagging, give it a look, was only yesterday.

hold volume down and lock button altogether for about 10 - 15 seconds and your phone will do a soft reset. That way you don't need to wait for it to run out of battery.
