Screen needs to stay bright-is there a way yo keep it that way?

Hi I find it hard to see much when the backlight is sort of dull. I noticed that not all the time it is fully bright. I am not sure if i am getting the wording right. I am new to this phone so this is one of those things that would make life easier if i could see the damn screen properly. I have 20/20 vision so i know its not me he he. Owned an iphone and a Blackberry before this and there was only either off or one he he.

Go to your settings menu and scroll down to "brightness." Switch the "Automatically adjust" slider to "off" and then choose "high" in the "level" drop-down.

Be advised, running your screen on High all the time will cause greatly increased battery drain.
