Screen protector wont go onto my 920

I have just got a lumia 920 and I am trying to apply a screen protector but it is lifting away on the top and bottom like its peeling off. The protector isnt right at the edge of the glass I was wondering if the glass is curved and this is what's preventing the protector from no lifting away.

Wont fancy not having a screen protector although I have a leather flip case for it, Thanks.

Which screen protector are you using?

Screen protectors for curved screens should be cut smaller to prevent lifting especially if they are the dry installed ones. The one you have most likely isn't cut small enough that's why it's lifting on the edges

Thanks, It is a small protector that I got from the local market - I will try and get a better quality one and see how it goes.
