screen rotation is not working after applying amber(GDR2) update

I noticed it first when i was was watching my pictures taken from camera. it wasn't rotating automatically today's evening. after that i went through messaging to see if keyboard rotates. unfortunately it didn't rotate at all. i went to city lens to check if my compass and accelerometer is not working. but, it worked well there. when i put that in my table it correctly showed me the map view.

I did several soft reset for the phone. didn't work. everything is working fine. But rotation is not... how to solve it??

Just updated my 920 and I am seeing the same issue.

Really confused me the first time I tried to look at a picture.

Same issue. I can't find anywhere that this included screen lock so im baffled. Any news on a fix?
