Does the X still have the microSD slot? Makes a huge difference when deciding which variant to get if it doesn't have microSD.
 
That's what I thought too when I saw the videos but I'm still hoping they have one maybe where the Sim/battery is.
 
Official specifications listed at Microsoft (just search for Surface Pro X) does not indicated a SD Card.

Internal storage up to 512MB (says removable by trained technician).

It's only a single SIM. Has two USB C ports.
 
For what it is worth. There is no SD Card reader. Waiting to hear back on how feasible it is to replace the SSD without Microsoft's help. Yes you can access the little door, but how do you reinstall Windows? Also looking online it's hard to find a good M.2 2230 size card. I did find a 512Gb M.2 2230 for $100 which I don't think is bad.
 
Would be interested in details of that as well. Would have been awesome if it had the boot drive separated from the actual accessible ssd.
