Search button not working

Anyone else have this issue?

I noticed a few days ago that pressing the home key would for some reason register a touch on the search button. It would vibrate and Cortana would come up.

Discovered today that a press on the search key now does nothing, and it only works when pressing the home key with your thumb to the right a little. Like you're pressing the home key and trying to press the search key at the same time.

I'm assuming this is a hardware issue, but hoping maybe it's software related.

If you already haven't tried a soft reset, then I would. If that doesn't fix your problem, then I would guess it's a hardware issue and you might want to return the device if you're still able.
