September Firmware updates

Has anyone seen these new firmware updates that are supposedly available? I'm starting to wonder if MS has not yet pushed them via Windows Update:

I see they appear to be available for direct download & manual install, but I'm very hesitant to jump on them this fast. The prospect of improvements in battery life makes it tempting though. Anyone's machines finding these via Windows Update yet? My Surface Book says its up to date...

For my part, the last update I have is KB3194496 which is also the last version according to the Microsoft Windows 10 update history web page : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/22880/1607-windows-10-update-history?ocid=1607

No, not WINDOWS updates, FIRMWARE updates. Noted here:

These updates were announced in an odd way. Instead of being told to go to Windows Update, which would be the normal way to distribute new drivers and firmware, there was a link to (I think) .zip and .msi files that you would have to download. I just blew the matter off and figured that Microsoft would push the updates when they overran their last option not to.
