Is it possible to set the Bing Image of the Day as the lock screen in Windows 8.1? Have it set to automatically change my desktop image, but would be nice if it would match the lock screen as well.

Thanks!

Yes it is and all my phones have it.
Go to Settings

In the App list, tap Settings Settings icon > Lock screen.

Under Background, tap the list, and then do one of the following:

To use a photo stored on your phone, tap Photo > Change photo, swipe over to the album it's stored in, and then tap the photo. Pinch your fingers together on the screen or stretch them apart to zoom in or out, and then tap Crop Crop icon when the image is framed the way you want it.
To get periodically updated images from Bing, tap Bing.
To let an app change your background for you, tap name of app, and then tap Open app. (You can also open a lock screen app from the App list, and then set it as your background through the app.)

That is for Windows PHONE 8.1, he is asking about windows 8.1, hence in the surface pro 3 forum.

On that note, as far a I know there is no automatic way of doing it natively. However you can set it to use a slideshow on your lock screen and use images from a specific folder. You could then use a program such as Wallpaper Downloader which will automatically download images from Bing to a folder that you choose. A folder that is also the same folder as your lock screen slideshow. And voila Bing images for your lock screen! ...(maybe, I've never actually tried it but if I've done the math correctly I don't see why it wouldn't.)

There's an app for that... Try "Amazing Lock Screen."

(Remove the space before "com"... I'm a new member and not able to post links to the forum yet.)

I can't believe this is not a default option. I'm guessing windows 10 will have this baked in, but that is so far away.
