Which path will you choose?
Usually when a developer announces a "New Game +" mode, it's not terribly exciting. It basically means that you can keep your gear and replay the adventure. A lot of gamers prefer it because they have powerful gear with which they can just dominate from the start. However, it looks like Shadow of the Tomb Raider is adding a new twist to the mechanic. The game is the conclusion to Lara Croft's origin story. Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Mayan apocalypse, Lara will ultimately be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.
