Should I get a 1520 or wait for a 1525?

I've got a 920 right now, and I'm seriously considering jumping to a 1520. Part of that is I'm still waiting for the 8.1/Cyan update, but I would like a larger screen.

What I don't want to happen is to get a 1520 and see the 1525 suddenly come out just a few months later. At this point, the 1525 seems to be almost more a myth than reality. There are few things solid about it online (most stories are from late 2013 or early 2014). It doesn't seem to be on the horizon anywhere. But I also know that these things can sometimes come out of the blue.

At this point, given what little we know, what are the chances that this phone, if it ever is going to exist, will be before the end of the year? Or sometime next year? Should I give up waiting and jump to a 1520? Or wait until New Years and see what things look like then?

Hi, this question is tough to answer.

Some thoughts:

1.) Check the upcoming IFA event for any new hints.

2.) Prepare a list of features that you feel important about. If the 1520 fulfills all your needs and you are definitely not willing to wait any longer just go for it. It's a fantastic device and the current pricing makes it even more attractive. Also think about whether Dual SIM is crucial for you or not since the 1520 doesn't support this.
