Should I go back to 8.0?

I have an Icon. I put the DP on it the first day I got the phone. So I really never had the phone without the DP.
I have been having severe WIFI issues. Not seeing networks, internet sharing not working etc.
Would using the Nokia software recovery tool and downgrading my phone solve these issues? I would really hate to give up the improvements, but the WIFI issues are definitely more important to me at this stage of the game. (RVer who uses campground WIFI and sharing when none available).

8.0 will be more stable, but like you said you'll be giving up features.

I had 8.1 DP for a while, but ultimately went with stability over the new features.

I did the same. Rolled back because I was hoping we would get Cyan and 8.1 in the middle of September. Although I do miss many of the features I forgot how nice and stable the vanilla Icon is.
