Should i turn on glance screen

I love the glance screen feature in lumia but ive heard that it drains battery. Is it true? Should i turn on glance nd if i turn it on will it eat my battery a lot?

If you got a OLED display, that's false.
On a LCD display, true but non at all. Simply check the drainin app list and you'll see (it's called Default Lockscreen if I remember well)

Always used it on my old phones too (925 and 830). Still miss it sometimes on my 930...

The only negative I have about enabling Glance currently is that now it defaults to on while charging, which I do not find to be a good thing.

In the WP 8 version, Glance could be set to timeout, after a set time period, while charging.
