Skype is dying, but this niche messaging app once bought by Skype just integrated with Microsoft Copilot

GroupMe is a BIG messaging app in the US across colleges and universities. Having just recently graduated myself we used it for everything. Communicating with new friends, club groups, study groups, etc. This makes it very interesting to me that it's being swarmed with all these generative AI features so blatantly. Right before I graduated generative AI had become a controversial topic on campus with different schools and different teachers discussing how to approach and view it. There was also ongoing issues in the English department with first year students cheating with ChatGPT papers. I'd have thought GroupMe would slow down with this, but I guess not.
