Skype Video chat - extra charges $$??

Hey guys,

Just got the new WP8 with the bf and am SO excited to do video chats. However when I downloaded skype, it popped up with one of those agreement details and said that even if I have wireless internet, it can kick on the LTE if skype wants to and start charging me $$! Completely devastated! Has anyone had any problems with the data kicking on with skype video chat? I do have 1GB available of data but I do use quite a bit of it up already.

i am not sure about it using LTE even though you have WiFi connected. But you always have an option to switch off your data connection so that none of your apps can use your valuable data plan unnecessarily when you have an accessible WiFi network. In this way you can even get better battery life.
